London Calling

I apologise right now for the subject of this post, it’s quite possibly the laziest title I’ve ever come up with (and it’s up against some pretty stiff competition).

We’re heading up to London tomorrow, hopefully it will stop raining for more than five minutes so we can enjoy ourselves.  We’re going to see the Pet Shop Boys perform their soundtrack to Battleship Potemkin with the BBC Concert Orchestra.  I’m really excited about this, they very rarely perform this particular work and I managed to book tickets for this now sold out performance back in December.  Net result?  Two seats in the middle of the third row from the front!

We’re also going to be seeing The Polar Express at the iMax, our first experience of an iMax 3D movie.  It’s a little out of season of course going to see a Christmas film in the middle of January, but we really like this particular festive movie and have heard great things about the iMax version.
Throw in trips to the London Eye, Madame Tussauds and the London Dungeon (for once I have a job that has some perks!) and it’s going to be a busy couple of days.

Saturday is also 12 of 12 day, I am planning to do one, it may not go live until Sunday, we’ll see what happens.
