A Change of Scenery

| May 15, 2009 | 2 Comments

As you can see, I have changed the theme on the site.  Once again I have continued to use the superbly designed premium WordPress themes from Solostream.  My currently under construction business site is using WP Clear, and this is WP Vybe 2.  The old WP Magazine theme I have been using for over a year has served me well, but I decided it was time for a change.

So things aren’t quite as they should be at present.  I’m working through ironing out the kinks, I need a new title bar and to get the advertisements all set up (don’t worry, the advertisements will only be for my own company).
I also know that the formatting on some of the older posts is very messed up, especially the AV Setup 3.0 page, but as that is now extremely out of date I will be updating it at some point in the future with an all new one.

Please stand by.  Normal service will be resumed shortly.

UPDATE! Everything is nearly back to normal again now.  I need to sort the title bar out, but that is just minor window dressing.
The Featured article images are now a uniform size, making everything a little more pleasing on the eye.  I’ve also removed the old morphing banner advert for the company site which my nephew so kindly designed for me last year.  I feel the banner ad above each post is a far better way to go, it displays all the information that is needed and doesn’t assult your eyes when you view it.

I dont know if I like it yet.

But then again, I’m afraid of all change.

I do like the blue lined background at the top, and the black helps to draw the eye to the content.

Nice to see the hours I spent redesigning my images, the time my designer spent on the header and ads, and the money I spent on the theme which looks almost the same as the old one meets with your approval :P
